Kentucky Baseball continues to strike while the iron is hot off its run to the 2024 Men’s College World Series.

Nick Mingione and the Wildcat staff hauled in two 2026 recruits this week in 3B/2B/RHP Grayson Willoughby (Louisville, KY) and OF/RHP Nolan Ramoley (Palos Park, IL).

Willoughby attends Trinity High School in Louisville, KY. Bit of a Swiss-army knife, the right-hander hit 93 MPH on his fastball velocity in early July. The class average is 74 MPH, putting the Louisville native in the 99.91% percentile.

He is currently ranked the 10th overall player in the state of Kentucky in the Class of 2026.

Ramoley, who attends Brother Rice High School in Palos Park, IL, joined fellow Class of 2026 Kentucky commit Gary Gibson II at the 2024 Perfect Game Underclass All-American Games earlier this month.

“Ramoley was one of the better overall athletes of the group,” said Perfect Game. “At the plate, he showed noticeable twitch/quickness to the hands that supplied some legit bat speed. Displayed easy impact and all-fields ability. In the OF, he showed well above avg. arm strength running it up to 91 with accuracy to the bag.”

He received a hit grade of 8, a power grade of 8.5, and a fielding grade of 9. His full scouting report from the 2024 Perfect Game Junior National Showcase (June 8-June 12, 2024) is below:

“Nolan Ramoley is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Palos Park, IL who attends Brother Rice. Big and strong athletic build, especially strong in the lower half. 6.52 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, can go and get the ball and showed athleticism off his feet, good footwork to the ball and into his throws, gets on top of his throws well and makes on line and accurate throws. Right handed hitter, has a slashing swing from a high hand load, gets too downhill at times, hits to all fields, some strength driven bat speed to build on with adjustments. Excellent student.”

It even seems like the Cody Fueger “boom fever” has made its way to the Kentucky Baseball program, as both players’ commitments were teased ahead of the official announcements.

Willoughby and Ramoley join an already loaded 2026 class, featuring Gary Gibson II (Lexington, KY) and Evan Hampton (Owensboro, KY). The future certainly remains bright in Lexington.
