Kentucky Baseball finished the 2024 season ranked No. 3 by D1Baseball, its highest Top 25 finish in program history.

The Bat Cats set many program records in 2024, including 46 wins, six NCAA Tournament wins, and 22 SEC wins en route to a College World Series berth and an SEC Co-Regular Season Championship.

“This is where you want to end your season. This is not how you want to end your season but this is where you want to end your season,” Nick Mingione said following Kentucky’s season-ending loss to Florida. “But so proud of these guys for the way they represented themselves, our baseball program and our institution. Just amazing, amazing group of men. And they are winners in every sense of the word, every sense of the word.”

National Champion Tennessee finished at No. 1, while runner-up (and now coachless) Texas A&M finished at No. 2. Florida, who eliminated Kentucky from the Men’s College World Series, landed at No. 8.

Seven of the 25 teams hailed from the SEC (No. 1 Tennessee, No. 2 Texas A&M, No. 3 Kentucky, No. 8 Florida, No. 11 Georgia, No. 17 Arkansas, No. 22 Mississippi State).
