Kentucky baseball releases 2025 schedule following College World Series run
If you’re like me, you’re counting down the days to get back inside Kentucky Proud Park and see the Bat Cats coming off their magical run to the College World Series. Now you know exactly when you’ll be able to as Kentucky has released its complete 2025 schedule ahead of the team’s push for a third consecutive NCAA Tournament birth.
What does the 53-game slate look like? And more importantly, when will the Bat Cats be in Lexington? Let’s take a closer look at the matchups.
Kentucky will open the season with back-to-back weekend trips to Nashville in February, the first against Lipscomb and the second against Belmont with a one-game return to Lexington splitting the two series for the home opener vs. Morehead State on Feb. 18. From there, a home matchup vs. Evansville on Feb. 25, followed by a three-game series vs. Hofstra at KPP.
As March rolls along we’ve got a home-and-home with Eastern Kentucky, starting in Richmond on the 4th and returning to Lexington on the 5th. Then Wofford comes to town for a three-game series at KPP from March 7-9.
