Kentucky Baseball versus Louisville canceled due to weather

Kentucky Proud Park was all set to host Kentucky versus Louisville later tonight, but Mother Nature had other plans for college baseball in Lexington. It has been raining all day around UK’s campus and the forecast for the rest of the evening predicts things won’t lighten up until late in the night, hours after the scheduled 6:30 PM start, if at all.
So with more rain ahead, the decision was made to cancel the game before Louisville made the drive over. There is no makeup date for the rivalry game.

“Mother Nature is not a fan of baseball so we are CANCELED today,” @UKBaseball tweeted Tuesday afternoon. “No current date for re-scheduling.”
With no makeup date, Kentucky’s trip to Louisville will be the rivals’ only meeting this season. The Wildcats head to Louisville’s Jim Patterson Stadium two weeks from today on April 19. First pitch is scheduled for 5 PM.
