Kentucky baseball's series-opener vs. Texas A&M postponed
Bring out the tarp!
No. 11 Kentucky baseball’s series-opener against Texas A&M set for Friday night has been postponed due to inclement weather conditions, it was announced by UK. Originally scheduled for 6:30 p.m. EST, first pitch was previously moved up to 4:00 p.m. in hopes of avoiding the weather, but the lightning did not cooperate.
As a result, Friday’s game has been pushed to Saturday, which will now be a doubleheader. Game one will begin at 2:00 p.m. EST with game two scheduled to start 45 minutes after the conclusion of game one. Both contests will be nine-inning games and will be available to watch on the SEC Network.
While we wait for Saturday’s doubleheader, you can familiarize yourself with Kentucky’s matchup against Texas A&M thanks to a series preview from KSR intern Daniel Hager here. With this weekend’s series being a Bark at the Park, let’s hope for sunnier skies the rest of the weekend.
