Kentucky's 2022-23 SEC Home and Away Opponents Revealed

The 2022-23 Kentucky Basketball schedule is slowly but surely coming together. Today, the Southeastern Conference released the home-and-away designations for the upcoming season.

Kentucky will play 18 league games, nine at home and nine on the road. In addition to the Cats’ permanent home-and-away opponents Florida, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt, they will play Arkansas and Georgia twice in the regular season. Kentucky’s home-only opponents are Auburn, LSU, South Carolina, and Texas A&M, while the road-only foes are Alabama, Mississippi State, Missouri, and Ole Miss. Dates, times, and TV designations will be announced at a later time.

At quick glance, Kentucky getting Arkansas twice should be no surprise. The Razorbacks are a top ten team in most preseason rankings, so of course the league office wants two matchups. No road trip to Auburn this year is nice, though. And, this feels like the first time in a long time Kentucky doesn’t go to College Station.
