Kentucky lost three of its last five Senior Day games. There have only been three other Senior Day losses in the history of UK basketball, and none of them happened before 1997. That embarrassing trend ended Tuesday night Rupp Arena.

The Cats weren’t firing on all cylinders right away, but it didn’t take long to get cooking. Kentucky had a double-digit cushion throughout the game and led by as many as 38 points en route to a 95-64 victory over LSU.

Otega Oweh sprinkled in a few shaky performances, but tonight, he was back to being his old self. The Oklahoma transfer led the Cats with 24 points. He probably won’t be the most talked about Cats on Wednesday.

Collin Chandler got hot from downtown, scoring 11 points on 3-3 shooting from three-point land. Brandon Garrison hit a couple of threes to score 15 points. Ansley Almonor was exceptional in his final game at Rupp Arena. The senior sank three threes and scored a season-high 15 points.

Kentucky ended the year at Rupp with its most dominant performance in SEC play. LSU committed 16 turnovers, and Kentucky assisted on 22 of 36 made field goals. The Cats did whatever they wanted, whenever they wanted. It resulted in an entertaining night of basketball. Enjoy the best of the best with these highlights.
