Kentucky Fans of the Day Want Highlights from the Win over Colgate
Well, that was weird. Kentucky led 17-0, then trailed multiple times in the second half before pulling away from Colgate for a 78-67 win.
Colgate went through a long drought, then got hot, then went icy cold for Kentucky to comfortably cruise in the later stages of the second half. With Lamont Butler and Kerr Kriisa sidelined, Koby Brea got the start and made the most of it. The sharpshooter hit five three-pointers to score a team-high 17 points for the Wildcats.
Jaxson Robinson was once again the primary point guard for the Cats. He started cold, missing his first six three-point attempts, before drilling a couple to spark a 12-0 run that put the Raiders away for good. He didn’t just knock down threes. The Kentucky guard made one rim-rattling highlight in transition.
