UK Fans of the Day want Highlights from the Kentucky Win over Lipscomb
That was fun. A week after securing a signature victory with a come-from-behind win over Duke, Kentucky returned to Rupp Arena and put on a show for Big Blue Nation. Kentucky cruised to a 97-68 victory over Lipscomb.
Jaxson Robinson did not make a bucket against Duke. The BYU transfer bounced back in a big way and it wasn’t just by knocking down three-pointers, although he was 3-6 from deep. He attacked the rim and let his floater do the work, scoring a team-high 20 points on 6-10 from the field. It’s his first 20-point game as a Wildcat.
We saw Lamont Butler shake a few Bison (or is it Bisons?) en route to 16 points while shooting a perfect 3-3 from three-point land. Otega Oweh had 14 points, while Koby Brea knocked down all three of his threes and sank three free throws to tally 12 points and round out the double-digit scorers.
The play of the night comes from an unexpected source. Collin Chander came off the bench and stripped the opponent. While scrambling to save the ball from going out of bounds, the Kentucky point guard threw it between his legs down the court for a thundering dunk from Amari Williams.
