Kentucky Basketball will wear remembrance patches for tornado victims

Last night, UK Athletics raised over $3 million for those impacted by the tornadoes and storms in Western Kentucky. The basketball team will also carry a piece of the Bluegrass over their hearts. Check out the “Kentucky United” remembrance patch that will be on the Wildcats’ jerseys for the remainder of the 2021-22 season:
Last night, the team and John Calipari fielded calls during the Kentucky United Tornado Disaster Relief Telethon. The four-hour event ended at 8 p.m. EST on Tuesday, with all of the proceeds going directly to the American Red Cross. Mark Stoops, Kyra Elzy, Craig Skinner, Mitch Barnhart, and members of the football, women’s basketball, and volleyball teams were there as well.
