We’ve been saying “Blue gets in” for years in regard to Kentucky fans attending road games, but it is especially cool to see it happen thousands of miles away from home. Steven Peake and I were in London to cover Kentucky vs. Michigan, and over the course of the weekend, met Cats fans from all across the globe. With no official pregame event scheduled, KSR took over the Observatory Pub at the O2 Arena and turned it into British KSBar. By the end of the night, management said the BBN drank the pub dry of bourbon, which is quite a feat.

Watch below as Steven and I make the rounds talking to fans from Kentucky, Spain, Kansas, Florida, Texas, South Carolina, New York, and England about the game, and what it means to cheer the Cats on in such a unique venue. For many of the fans from Europe, it was their first time seeing the Cats in person. How cool is that?

The day before, the BBN took over a pub in Central London to cheer USA on vs. the Netherlands in the World Cup. Even though USA lost, we had a lot of fun at the Temple Brew House and taught our English friends some new cheers.
