Kentucky Basketball players will reveal new NIL deal tonight
Since the Name, Image, Likeness floodgates opened earlier this summer, Kentucky Basketball players have rolled out endorsement deals mostly on their own. Tonight, a group of Wildcats will unveil a joint NIL venture with the help of ESPN’s Jordan Schultz. Keion Brooks, Lance Ware, TyTy Washington, CJ Fredrick, Kellan Grady, Jacob Toppin, and Dontaie Allen will go live on Instagram with Schultz at 7 p.m. ET to announce the “first of its kind NIL opportunity.”
It’s worth noting that ProCampsU, the NIL branch of the company that organizes John Calipari’s annual Fantasy Camp and other events, is tagged in Schultz’s Instagram post. Most, if not all, of Kentucky’s players partnered with ProCampsU earlier this summer. If you’re guessing what tonight’s reveal is about, that’s a good place to start.
TyTy Washington signs with T.R.A.P. House Clothing
Over the weekend, freshman guard TyTy Washington hosted a charity backpack giveaway near his home in Arizona as part of a partnership with Los Angeles based T.R.A.P. House Clothing. T.R.A.P. stands for “Trying to Rise Above Poverty,” and the brand aims to raise awareness surrounding issues of drugs, racism, and the cycle of poverty. Alabama freshman guard JD Davison and USC junior cornerback Chris Steele also partner with T.R.A.P. House Clothing.
Kentucky Basketball NIL Deals
Here’s a running list of the Kentucky Basketball NIL deals we know of so far:
- Entire team: ProCamps, Cameo
- Dontaie Allen: Players Trunk, Bojangles
- Kellan Grady: iSlides

- TyTy Washington: T.R.A.P. House Clothing
I’m sure that list will continue to grow as the season gets closer.
