Kentucky is bowl eligible for the seventh straight season
Emotions are across the board in Big Blue Nation following a wild afternoon in Columbia, Missouri, but one thing is certain: Kentucky is bowl eligible for the seventh straight season.
The Cats’ 21-17 win over the Tigers was their sixth of the season, ensuring a postseason berth. Current frustrations aside, that’s quite an accomplishment for a program that had only gone to 15 bowls prior to Mark Stoops taking over, five in this century.

As of earlier this week, most pundits have Kentucky going to either the ReliaQuest Bowl on Jan. 2 (formerly the Outback Bowl) or the Music City Bowl on Dec. 31. Finish strong and you can still enjoy the postseason in Florida. Fingers crossed.
