Kentucky is ahead of Auburn in latest Coaches Poll
Kentucky’s basketball program is fresh off a big home win on Saturday. Without their two main dribble creators in the lineup, the Wildcats found a way to beat ranked Alabama at home and stay in the SEC championship race. Meanwhile, Auburn dropped a close one to the road against Florida.
The AP Poll wasn’t impressed. However, things are a bit different in the Coaches Poll.
On Monday, a new top 25 was released at Kentucky checked in at No. 3 overall behind Gonzaga and Arizona. The Wildcats did not move after being in the same spot last week. Meanwhile, Bruce Pearl’s club went from No. 2 to No. 4.
How the turn tables have turned.
In the AP Poll, Kentucky fell two spots to No. 6 and Auburn fell just one spot to No. 3. Meanwhile, Tennessee sits at No. 17 with Arkansas being at No. 18 in both polls.
