Kentucky’s highest-rated commit in the 2025 class is heading to Lexington this season to play his final year of high school football. 2025 four-star EDGE Cedric Works has enrolled at Frederick Douglass (Lexington, KY) High School, sources tell KSR+.

The 6-foot-5, 230-pound edge rusher from Northmont (Dayton, OH) is ranked by the On3 Industry Ranking as the No. 19 EDGE and the No. 147 overall prospect in the 2025 class. On3 ranks Works as the No. 19 EDGE and No. 179 overall prospect in the class.

Cedric Works finished the 2023 season with 82 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, and 6.5 sacks for Northmont. He also had two interceptions.
