Kentucky is rolling in the transfer portal with two commitments in the last 24 hours from Mouhamed Dioubate and Jayden Quaintance. However, Kentucky isn’t done yet. A new target has popped up.

Kentucky has contacted Cincinnati guard transfer Dan Skillings Jr., he tells KSR+. Sources tell KSR+ that some initial contact has been made, but the family is still setting a time to speak with the coaches.

“Everything is quite early,” one source said.

Skillings, a 6-foot-5 junior guard, averaged 9.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.2 steals per game, starting in 13 of 29 games for Cincinnati in 2024-25. He shot 44 percent from the field and 29.9 percent from three-point range. Skillings earned All-Big 12 Honorable Mention honors during the 2024-25 season with Cincinnati.

As a member of the Class of 2022, Skillings was a four-star recruit out of Philadelphia (Pa.) Roman Catholic, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 2 overall prospect in the state, the No. 13 shooting guard in the class and the No. 82 overall prospect in the class.
