Kentucky WBB contacts former Indiana leading scorer Yarden Garzon

Kenny Brooks has lost some talent this offseason, and he’ll be looking to replenish his roster by adding some valuable and productive pieces — pieces like Indiana transfer guard Yarden Garzon.
A source told KSR that the 6-foot-3 rising senior was contacted by Kentucky upon entering the transfer portal on Monday. On3’s Talia Goodman has reported that Garzon entered the portal with a “do not contact” tag. However, it seems unlikely that Garzon knows where she’s headed.
The “do not contact” tag most likely just means that she wants people to reach out to her representatives, not her directly. It’s becoming more common for players to do that, especially international players like her (who is from Israel).
The All-Big Ten Second Team selection was the leading scorer for the Hoosiers this past season, recording 14.4 points per game while knocking down 40.7% of her three-point attempts. She also put up 5.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game.

Garzon has received interest from UCLA, USC and Maryland, among several others. A return to Indiana is also in play.
