The Kentucky Wildcats closed out exhibition play with an 83-51 victory over the Kentucky State Thorobreds on Friday evening.
For the third consecutive game, sophomore guard Immanuel Quickley led the way with 17 points (6-10 shooting, 2-5 from three), two rebounds, and two assists.
After a zero-point, zero-rebound performance against Georgetown College, freshman wing Kahlil Whitney followed it up with 15 points (7-13 shooting), five rebounds, three assists, and three blocks against Kentucky State.
Bucknell graduate transfer Nate Sestina closed out double-digit scorers with 13 points on 6-8 shooting and 1-2 from three. He also managed eight rebounds, three assists, and two blocks.
