Kentucky is beginning SEC Tournament play as a big favorite in Tampa after 11th-seeded Vanderbilt played spoiler against Alabama.
Kentucky opened as an 11-point favorite over Vanderbilt. That number quickly grew to UK -12. The total is 143.

The Commodores have covered in three straight games and six of their last seven. They were 1-1 against the spread in the two losses to Kentucky this year, falling by an average of 9.5 points.
They say it’s difficult to defeat a team three times. That is not the case always the case for the Wildcats. Kentucky is 33-10 (.767) all-time in the SEC Tournament against teams they defeated twice during the regular season. However, UK is just 4-4 in such games since 2006. John Calipari is 0-2 against Vandy in the SEC Tournament. Vanderbilt has five SEC Tourney wins over UK and in four of them, the Wildcats had already earned two regular season wins over the Commodores.
