Not long after the AP updated its Top 25 for the sport of men’s college basketball, the USA Today Sports Coaches Poll followed suit with its new pecking order of the best teams so far.

And unlike the AP poll, where Kentucky stayed in place with a No. 19 ranking, the coaches gave the Wildcats a slight drop down their order following the 20-point win over Florida A&M and other results around the country last week. Kentucky is now 17th in the eyes of the coaches in this new Week 8 update, one spot back from the previous 16th-place ranking.

At the top, Purdue and Connecticut still have unbeaten records, followed by Houston at third, Kansas at fourth, and Arizona in fifth.
