Kentucky-Duke in the Champions Classic: Tip-off time and ticket info announced
One of the biggest games on Kentucky‘s 2024-25 basketball schedule now has a start time. On Thursday, the Champions Classic announced that Kentucky vs. Duke will be the second game in the annual doubleheader event, set for Tuesday, November 12, in Atlanta. Kansas vs. Michigan State will lead off at 6:30 p.m. in State Farm Arena. The Wildcats and Blue Devils will follow with a 9:00 p.m. start.

Kentucky has lost two straight and three out of four to Duke in the Champions Classic, including the embarrassing 118-84 loss in 2018. Overall, Kentucky is 5-8 in the Champions Classic and the Wildcats haven’t won a game since 2018.

CBS Sports Classic tickets on sale now
If the CBS Sports Classic is more your speed, those tickets went on sale today. This year, Kentucky plays Ohio State in Madison Square Garden on December 21, only a few days shy of Christmas. The Buckeyes now have former Wildcat Aaron Bradshaw and former UK assistant Joel Justus, so there will be some familiarity in the Buckeyes.
