Not many high school prospects had a more productive spring than shooting guard Bryson Howard — and it’s resulted in plenty of high-major scholarship offers.

The latest opportunity came from the Kentucky Wildcats. Howard announced Monday afternoon that he has received an offer from Kentucky following a conversation with the entire coaching staff. Clocking in at 6-foot-5, 200 pounds, the Texas native has pulled in offers from the likes of UConn, Duke, Houston, Michigan, Indiana, and plenty more since the start of May.

Howard has seen his stock explode in recent months, in large part thanks to his play on the Nike EYBL circuit for Pro Skills. He’s now considered the 35th-best recruit in the class of 2026, according to On3, after not being ranked among the top 150 in the previous update. Howard is also the son of former NBA player Josh Howard, who played 10 seasons in the league and was a one-time All-Star with the Dallas Mavericks.

Since breaking onto the scene in May, Howard has been receiving interest from nearly every high-profile program. Kentucky first reached out to the rising high school senior in late May, assistant coaches Alvin Brooks III and Mikhail McLean leading the charge. The staff has recently watched Howard play on the EYBL circuit and at the NBPA Top 100 Camp. Howard was named one of the top performers at the NBPA Top 100 Camp by On3.

“Bryson Howard has had a hot spring and that did not slow down here,” On3’s Jamie Shaw wrote earlier this month. “The ultimate connector, Howard made shots, moved the ball, and defenses down a lineup. Nothing with him is flashy, he is a complimentary player, but his ability to raise the floor of his team is apparent as he allows his teammates to play to their strengths.”

Across five games at the NBPA Top 100 Camp, Howard averaged 15.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.6 steals in 22.6 minutes per outing. He shot 44.8 percent from the field and 39.5 percent from deep on 7.6 attempts per game. The Heritage (TX) product has been equally as productive on the EYBL circuit. Through 11 games played for Pro Skills, Howard is averaging 20.9 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.8 steals, and 1.3 assists per contest on shooting splits of 52.8/45.5/76.1.

Howard becomes the 13th prospect from the 2026 cycle to publicly announce a Kentucky offer. He’s yet to take/schedule any official visits, but expect that to change soon as he continues to hear more and more from top schools.
