Kentucky will face a sellout crowd against Mississippi State at Humphrey Coliseum
This won’t come as much of a shock, but Kentucky coming to town has resulted in another sell-out crowd for the host team.
Mississippi State announced on Friday night that tonight’s matchup at Humphrey Coliseum between the No. 6 Wildcats and No. 14 Bulldogs has officially sold out. The Hump holds around 9,100 people and will be jam-packed for the Top 15 SEC showdown. Tipoff is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. EST on the SEC Network.
Humphrey Coliseum is freshly renovated (with an expanded student section) and head coach Chris Jans has MSU off to one of the best starts in program history. As of right now, it’s not going to be a “t-shirt” night, but Bulldog fans are very into this team right now. Kentucky should expect a wild road environment for the second straight game.

This will mark just the third-ever Top 15 matchup played at Humphrey Coliseum and the ninth-ever between Top 25 teams. Mississippi State won the last ranked battle against an Auburn team ranked 16th back in the 2018-19 season. The Bulldogs are 7-0 this season in home games. MSU’s next home game against Ole Miss is already sold out, as well.
KSR’s Jack Pilgrim and Steven Peake will be on the scene to hopefully watch Kentucky pull off the win. We need to see the tears of Mississippi State fans in crystal clear 1080p. The guys actually arrived on Thursday, so they’ll be more than ready to escape Starkville by the time tonight’s game is over.
