What’s the damage for Kentucky after going 0-1 on the week, falling to Vanderbilt by a final score of 74-69 in Nashville? The Wildcats were punished in the latest USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll, but the drop wasn’t as steep as you may have expected. In fact, they’re still just outside the top 10, slipping three spots to No. 12 overall. That’s good for fifth in the SEC.

Auburn comes in, again, at No. 1 overall, followed by Alabama at No. 4, Florida at No. 6, Tennessee at No. 8, Mississippi State at No. 13, Texas A&M at No. 15, Missouri at No. 21 and Ole Miss at No 23 to round out conference foes. Vanderbilt and Georgia are also receiving votes in the latest update.

Kentucky was voted as high as No. 4 overall and as low as No. 23.
