Football is coming. Your first chance to see Mark Stoops‘ 12th Kentucky football team is right around the corner. All of the stars will be in attendance.

The University of Kentucky has announced Fan Day will be Saturday, August 3. The annual event is the best opportunity for the Big Blue Nation to see the players and coaches before the Wildcats kick off the season against Southern Miss at Kroger Field on August 31.

The event will include an open practice just outside of the Joe Craft Football Training Facility next to Kroger Field. Parking and admission is free. Fans can begin entering the facility at 10 a.m. ET at the practice field gate in the plaza outside Gate 12 of Kroger Field. The workout begins at 11 a.m. ET will run to 12:45 p.m. ET before the gates close.

If inclement weather arrives, Kentucky’s Fan Day will be canceled. Details regarding weather and a potential cancellation can be found at UKAthletics.com. KSR will also keep fans posted. Free Kentucky football posters will be available at the event.

There will be concessions with bottled water and some pre-packaged snacks.

Football time in the Bluegrass is almost here. The countdown is almost over. Who is ready to tailgate?
