Kentucky fans are already lined up outside Rupp Arena (and watching Paul Blart: Mall Cop)
It’s a big day in Lexington, in case you haven’t heard. No. 10 Kentucky is set to host No. 5 Tennessee inside Rupp Arena, a must-win for both 15-5 teams fighting for their say in the SEC title race.
Cats vs. Vols, nothing like it. And no one understands that more than Big Blue Nation.
How do I know that? Take a peek outside the Rupp Arena doors right now. Tipoff isn’t until 8:30 p.m. ET, the calm before the calm before the storm. It’s a marathon, not a sprint until then.
That’s not stopping some fans from starting off the block with all gas and no brakes. They’ll take your typical football tailgate and up you two smart TVs, a PlayStation 5, three laptops and an air mattress at the venue’s entrance.

Michigan prepared to offer No. 1 recruit $10.5M over 4 years
Oh, and they’re watching Paul Blart: Mall Cop before this all-time college basketball Saturday ramps up, Madden on the other screen.
The first few fans arrived at 4 AM, the rest joining at 6 AM. 16 hours before tipoff, locked in and ready to go. Asked what they plan to do with all of their stuff when the doors open later this afternoon: “We haven’t thought that far.”
“It’s just different here,” they added.
Indeed it is.
Vibes. Culture. BBN.
