WATCH: John Calipari, players recap Kentucky's win at Florida
As you might expect, John Calipari and his team were all smiles following the thrilling 87-85 win over Florida. Calipari applauded his players for bouncing back after a rough first half, especially freshmen DJ Wagner and Aaron Bradshaw. Having “dogs” like that again is nice, but another big component of Kentucky’s win was improved three-point defense in the second half. Florida shot 8-20 from behind the arc in the first half and 1-11 in the second.
Hear Calipari opine about that, praise the Gators, and have some fun back and forth with the media below. Reed Sheppard and Aaron Bradshaw also spoke to the media briefly outside the locker room, sharing their thoughts on the big plays at the end of the game, including Bradshaw’s huge three.
