Kentucky Football announces 2022 promotional schedule, single-game ticket sales

As the post directly below this one just reminded you, we are 58 days from the kickoff of the 2022 Kentucky Football season. This afternoon, UK released the promotional schedule for this year’s eight home games. If you don’t have season tickets, set a reminder because single-game tickets go on sale Monday, July 11 at 9 a.m. ET, exclusively online at Ticketmaster.com.

Miami (Ohio) – Sept. 3, 7 PM: Kentucky Cheer Youth Day

More details are forthcoming, but for the season opener, cheerleaders from across the state are invited to attend.

Youngstown State – Sept. 17, Noon: Military Appreciation/Heroes Day

Lots to celebrate on September 17. Not only will UK honor the military with complimentary tickets for members of Heroes Day groups, it is Girl Scouts Day and Kentucky Dance Youth Day. Scouts from across the region can get tickets starting at $15 each and will receive a Kentucky scout patch.

Northern Illinois – Sept. 24: Family Weekend, Alumni Band Day

Hosted by the UK Parent & Family Association, Family Weekend welcomes families of UK students to campus for a weekend full of fall activities. It’s also the annual reunion of the Wildcat Marching Band. Specially priced tickets will be available to participants and their guests. More information coming soon.

South Carolina – Oct. 8: Ag Roundup, Teacher Appreciation Day

Ag Roundup welcomes alumni and friends of the College of Agriculture, Food, and Environment. The weekend will feature live music, food, yard games, and more. As part of Teacher Appreciation Day, UK will participate in the College Football Playoff Foundation’s Extra Yard for Teachers Week. All teachers, in addition to University of Kentucky faculty & staff, will be able to purchase specially-priced tickets to the South Carolina game. Mississippi State – Oct. 15: Homecoming

For UK’s 107th annual Homecoming, the Wildcats will host Mississippi State. Visit UKHomecoming.com for more information as well as a schedule of events.

Vanderbilt – Nov. 12: Hall of Fame Weekend, Salute to Veterans Game

UK’s 2022 Hall of Fame Class will be inducted the weekend of the Vanderbilt game, with the new members recognized on the field. It’s also the annual Salute to Veterans game (more details about this event will be available later this fall), Boy Scouts Day, and Youth Sports and Activities Day.

Boy scouts from across the state will have access to specially-priced $15 tickets and the opportunity to partake in the Physical Therapy and First Aid merit badges event in August. Youth teams from across the area will also be eligible for specially-priced tickets starting at $15. Additional details will be released later this summer.

Georgia – Nov. 19

No promos for the Georgia game other than the satisfaction of beating the defending national champions for a spot in the SEC Championship in Atlanta.

Louisville – Nov. 26: Senior Day

Also known as Ls Down day. It will be a glorious one.
