Brian Picucci, a senior analyst for Kentucky football, is reportedly joining Liam Coen in Tampa Bay.

Picucci, the former college coach of Coen at UMass, is being hired by the Buccaneers as the franchise’s assistant offensive line coach, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Picucci was the run game coordinator/offensive line coach at UMass from 2004-08 while Coen was the Minutemen’s quarterback.

According to his UK Athletics bio, Picucci joined Kentucky during the 2023 season as a quality control coach on offense. He has more than 28 years of coaching experience across the college and professional ranks, seven of them as an offensive coordinator.

Coen was hired as the Buccaneers’ offensive coordinator on Feb. 4 after spending the 2023 season as Kentucky’s OC. It was his second stint as the Wildcats’ play-caller (2021) and marked the second time he’s left Lexington for the NFL.
