Kentucky Football Fans of the Day want Week 4 Bowl Projections
It shouldn’t come as a surprise, but Kentucky’s 31-0 win over Youngstown State didn’t really have an impact on where the national media believes the Cats will go bowling. This week’s bowl projections are almost a carbon copy of last week’s bowl projections, with most pundits predicting the Cats will play in the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans or the ReliaQuest Bowl in Tampa. (If it comes down to those two, I’ll gladly take the Sugar Bowl, even if there’s a conflict with the Kentucky vs. Louisville basketball game.)
- ESPN’s Kyle Bonagura: Sugar Bowl vs. Oklahoma (Dec. 31, Noon, ESPN)
- ESPN’s Mark Schlabach: ReliaQuest Bowl vs. NC State (Jan. 2, Noon, ESPN2)
- Brett McMurphy: Sugar Bowl vs. Oklahoma State (Dec. 31, Noon, ESPN)
- College Football News: Sugar Bowl vs. Oklahoma (Dec. 31, Noon, ESPN)
- CBS Sports’ Jerry Palm: ReliaQuest Bowl vs. Michigan State (Jan. 2, Noon, ESPN2)
- Sporting News’ Bill Bender: Music City Bowl vs. Michigan State (Dec. 31, Noon, ABC)
- Sports Illustrated: Citrus Bowl vs. Michigan State (Jan. 2, 1 p.m., ABC)
- 247 Sports: ReliaQuest Bowl vs. Michigan State (Jan. 2, Noon, ESPN2)
This hypothetical 12-team CFP bracket is fun
It’ll be a few years before the College Football Playoff expands to 12 teams, but that’s not stopping the internet from imagining what it would look like this season. Sports Illustrated’s Ross Dellenger released this hypothetical bracket today featuring No. 10 Kentucky squaring off against No. 7 Oklahoma in a first-round game in Norman. The winner would play No. 2 Ohio State.
How fun does that look?
