Kentucky’s win over Vanderbilt didn’t do much to change the postseason forecast. Most college football experts still have the Cats going to Tampa Bay for the Outback Bowl on New Year’s Day. A few writers have the Cats going to the Citrus or Gator Bowls, while a few others have Kentucky dropping a rung to the Duke’s Mayo Bowl or Music City Bowl. Something tells me that the latter scenario may come into play should Kentucky lose to Louisville. So, win out and we’ll be eating Bloomin’ Onions on the beach.

Here’s a roundup of the latest bowl projections from across the interwebs.

  • On3: Outback Bowl vs. Penn State (Jan. 1, Noon, ESPN2, Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, Fl.)
  • ESPN’s Mark Schlabach: Outback Bowl vs. Iowa (Jan. 1, Noon, ESPN2, Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, Fl.)
  • ESPN’s Kyle Bonagura: TaxSlayer Gator Bowl vs. NC State (Dec. 31, 11 a.m., ESPN, TIAA Bank Field, Jacksonville, Fl.)
