Latest College Football National Title odds include Kentucky
On Sunday, the Super Bowl will be played between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles. Once that game ends at State Farm Stadium, we will have to wait six-plus months until the 2023 football season begins.
Labor Day weekend cannot get here fast enough. With the NFL Draft and spring football looming in March and April, the football content will start to get picked up as everyone prepares for another wild season. At Circa Sports, the futures train has already left the station.
We now have odds for the national championship as the College Football Playoff will head to NRG Stadium (Houston) to crown the sport’s next champion. Georgia and Alabama are the early favorites with Kentucky making an appearance in the second column.
The Wildcats are currently listed at (+75000) to bring home the title along with Wake Forest. The Cats have better odds than South Carolina and Missouri. However, there is a lot of competition ahead of Kentucky.

The Wildcats go to Athens in October and will host Alabama in December. Don’t be surprised if those are the top two teams when the AP Top 25 is released in the summer. Kentucky also hosts Tennessee (+4000) and Florida (+35000). The Cats will hit the road to take on Louisville (+50000) and Mississippi State (+50000).
The schedule is again difficult, but Mark Stoops should have a team that is top-25 caliber and capable of beating just about anyone on the schedule on paper outside of those two contests with Alabama and Georgia.
Playing for a national title will always be a pipe dream for Kentucky, but winning a bunch of 50/50 games and finishing the season at 10-2 is something that this program should be able to make a run at sooner rather than later. That type of season will land the Wildcats in the expanded 12-team playoff when it expands in 2024.
Now we just wait for Week 1 to arrive. Football is coming.
