Breaking down the Gameplay of the New EA Sports College Football Video Game | 07.15.24

One week away from the start of the 2024 Kentucky football season, Kentucky Sports Radio is using a different method to forecast the Wildcats’ fortunes. Rather than leaning on analysis from humans, we’re letting technology determine the fate of this year’s football team.

Starting yesterday and continuing through Sunday over on the KSR YouTube Channel, we will be simulating the upcoming Kentucky football season on EA Sports College Football ’25. Each day we’ll livestream four regular season games. We got things rolling on Friday with a 2-2 start for the Wildcats.

Kentucky had to sneak out a season-opening win over Southern Miss before getting run over by South Carolina. UK then nearly knocked off top-ranked Georgia in game three but needed a pair of overtime periods to take down Ohio.

Things went much better yesterday with the Cats picking up wins against Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, and Florida before dropping a home game to Auburn. In this simulation, Kentucky currently sits at 5-3 (3-3) entering November.

Games against Tennessee, Murray State, Texas, and Louisville are on deck.

Friday: Southern Miss (Won 14-11), South Carolina (Lost 24-6), Georgia (Lost 31-28), Ohio (Won 21-19 2OT W)
Saturday: at Ole Miss (Won 24-21), Vanderbilt (Won 27-19), at Florida (Won 24-17), Auburn (Lost 41-34)
Sunday: at Tennessee, Murray State, at Texas, Louisville

Join along and joke with us in the chat. The stream officially goes live at 6:30 p.m. ET.
