Kentucky football hosted multiple recruits for Thursday's spring practice
The third week of Kentucky football’s spring practice is in full swing. The Spring Game is a little over a week away. And while this multi-week stretch is important for the Wildcats’ overall growth and development, it’s also important from a recruiting perspective.
Kentucky has brought in dozens of high school recruits over the last couple of weeks. Thursday marks another notable recruiting event, with a handful of talented high school juniors making the trip to Lexington. Let’s dive into today’s expected visitors, but first, a quick word from our sponsor…

Thursday’s spring practice visitors
Dejerrian Miller (’25 WR) 6-3, 190 | Cardinal Ritter College Prep (East Saint Louis, IL)
3-star: No. 670 overall, No. 111 WR
Dejerrian Miller posted to social media this morning that he made it to Lexington for spring practice. The talented pass-catcher included Kentucky in his top-eight from early February. Michigan, Oregon, Tennessee, Missouri, Kansas State, Michigan State, and Miami (FL) make up the rest of his finalists. Miller has since taken a visit to Tennessee and received an offer from Ole Miss.
Kentucky safeties coach Frank Buffano initially offered Miller back in December but new wide receivers coach Daikiel Shorts along with inside linebackers coach Mike Stoops are also involved in his recruitment. Miller has one official visit scheduled as of right now to Ole Miss. It’s likely he end up scheduling an OV with Kentucky, too.
Javeon Campbell (’25 DL) 6-5, 260 | Western Hills (Frankfort, KY)
3-star: No. 404 overall, No. 34 DL
Javeon Campbell is an in-state recruit who has been blowing up as of late. It wasn’t until January that the 6-foot-5, 260-pound EDGE received his first Power 5 offer (Minnesota). Since then, he’s earned scholarships from the likes of Notre Dame, Michigan State, Kentucky, Ohio State, Miami (FL), Georgia, Auburn, Florida, LSU, Alabama, and Ole Miss, among others.
Campbell already has an official visit scheduled with Kentucky for June 7-9 but is coming to town anyway to meet with associate head coach Vince Marrow, his primary recruiter. Defensive coordinator Brad White and defensive line coach Anwar Stewart are also recruiting Campbell to UK.
Earlier this week, Campbell cut his list down to nine schools: Kentucky, Florida, Alabama, Auburn, Miami (FL), Ohio State, Notre Dame, LSU, and Georgia — an impressive group, to say the last. He’ll take additional OVs to Ohio State (May 31-June 2) and Georgia (June 21-23) this summer, as well. A decision could come sometime this summer.
Jim Harris (’25 OT) 6-5, 295 | Muskegon (Muskegon, MI)
N-Kye Wynn (’25 OT) 6-5, 265 | Muskegon (Muskegon, MI)
We’ll go ahead and group teammates Jim Harris and N-Kye Wynn together. The Michigan products both clock in at 6-foot-5 on the offensive line, with Harris holding a roughly 30-pound edge. UK offensive line coach Eric Wolford is recruiting both. Neither has publicly announced an offer from the Wildcats, but today’s visit could change that.

Starting with Harris, he’s been invited down for Kentucky’s Spring Game on April 13 and told Jacob Polacheck of KSR+ that he intends to come to Lexington for that in addition to today’s visit. The likes of Michigan State, Kansas, Texas A&M, Penn State, Boston College, and others are among the schools he hears from the most, in addition to. UK. Following a trip to Pitt on Tuesday, Harris will also visit Indiana and Cincinnati in the coming days. Vanderbilt offered on Wednesday. He’s considered a three-star prospect by 247Sports.
As for Wynn, he has an official visit set with Kentucky for June 7-9 but, like Javeon Campbell, has decided to get on campus a couple of months in advance. His second OV will be to Toledo the weekend after. Iowa State, Pitt, and Kansas are among the schools also in regular contact with him. Wynn visited Michigan State last weekend, too, and announced an offer shortly after. He’s also considered a three-star prospect by 247Sports.
Don’t be shocked if these aren’t the only two Muskegon prospects in Lexington today, either. The school is on spring break and is using this week to take as many players on visits as possible. Notably, class of 2027 EDGE Recarder Kitchen visited Michigan State with Harris and Wynn, earning an offer from the Spartans, as well. Kitchen checks in as a 6-foot-5, 230-pound high school freshman.
Cam Clark (OT) 6-7, 280 | Dexter (Dexter, MI)
Like a couple of the visitors mentioned above, Cam Clark also has an official visit to Kentucky set for this summer, but he wanted to check out campus beforehand. Clark’s OV to Kentucky is scheduled for June 14-16. He’ll also officially visit Cincinnati (May 31-June 2) and West Virginia (June 7-9). Coach Wolford extended Clark an offer from UK on Feb. 9 and the two sides have been in steady contact ever since.
Clark, who checks in at 6-foot-7, 280 pounds, has actually been to Lexington several times in the past, but today was his first time on UK’s campus. Georgia Tech, Minnesota, and Wisconsin all offered him during the month of March. He’s considered a three-star recruit by 247Sports.
