Kentucky Football moves back into Coaches Poll Top 25
Heading into Saturday’s 56-16 win over New Mexico State, Kentucky was receiving the most votes of any team in the Coaches Poll Top 25. Following a Senior Day blowout, the ‘Cats are once again nationally ranked.
The updated Week 13 college football rankings were released on Sunday and the AFCA Coaches Poll moved Kentucky one spot to No. 25. UK is 8-3 on the year with the regular-season finale scheduled for next weekend on the road against the Louisville Cardinals (6-5).

At one point this season, Kentucky was ranked as high as No. 11 in the Coaches Poll. The ‘Cats got off to a 6-0 start that included wins over Florida and LSU. UK has slipped a bit since then, losing three straight but winning its last two. A close-out win over UL would conclude what has been a special regular season.
