After peaking at No. 11 in the country, Kentucky Football has plummeted down the rankings. The Wildcats fell to the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday night, 45-42, in what was UK’s third consecutive loss. As a result, Kentucky has been completely dropped from the Top 25.

ESPN’s updated college football Power Rankings saw Kentucky go from No. 17 to out of the picture entirely following the loss to UT. On Sunday afternoon, both the USA Today AFCA Coaches Poll and AP Poll followed suit. Kentucky is no longer ranked as a Top 25 team by either outlet with the ‘Cats now sitting on a 6-3 record this season.

Kentucky was No. 17 in the Coaches Poll and No. 18 in the AP Poll heading into Saturday’s game, but fell to just outside the Top 25 of both as a result of the loss. The Coaches Poll has UK receiving the fourth-most votes (No. 29 overall) while the AP Poll gave the ‘Cats the sixth-most votes (No. 31).

Time to regroup and focus on Vanderbilt next weekend. Check out the full rankings from both polls below.
