Bush Hamdan Gives Update On Kentucky's Offense

The summer heat is brutal in the Bluegrass State, but that is not stopping the Kentucky football program from getting work done at the Joe Craft Football Training Facility. On Tuesday morning, the Wildcats were in full pads and got after it.

The entire team is getting physical.

“These guys have had a physical camp on both sides of the ball. Certainly, it starts up front,” Hamdan told KSR on Tuesday. “Really doing a nice job of taking the next step each day.”

Following the latest practice, KSR spoke with numerous members of the Kentucky offense to get an update on how things are progressing for the unit. Offensive coordinator Bush Hamdan, tight ends coach Vince Marrow, tight end Khamari Anderson, wide receiver Ja’Mori Maclin, and wide receiver Fred Farrier II all dished on how things are going with the offense

Hamdan talked about Rutgers transfer Gavin Wimsatt and what he could bring to the offense as a runner. Marrow discussed true freshman Willie Rodriguez and updated where the in-state prospect stands. Anderson let us know to expect a lot of 12 personnel. Both Farrier and Maclin want the Big Blue Nation to know that explosive passing plays are coming to Kroger Field this fall.

Enough of the small talk. Smash that play button.
