The University of Kentucky has posted a new job listing for assistant coach on the football program, a move likely signaling an imminent announcement regarding Liam Coen’s move to the Los Angeles Rams.

The full-time job was posted today with a deadline to apply of March 23, 2022, a position that requires applicants to “assist the Head Coach in the administration of a Division I Football program.

“Duties include but not limited to the following: coaching, recruiting, football camps, academic and personnel support and all necessary administrative work as assigned by Head Coach,” the listing says. “Must adhere to all UK, SEC & NCAA rules and regulations.”

ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg reported Tuesday morning that Coen was expected to take the offensive coordinator position with the Rams, confirming the expected deal previously announced by NFL reporter Albert Breer.

You can find the school’s official job listing here. It should also be noted that there is also a job opening for Director of Player Personnel at UK, one that was posted today, as well.

“The Director of Player Personnel will receive evaluations and information from each of the four Recruiting Assistants to be processed and filtered further to narrow the potential prospect recruiting board,” the job listing reads. “The Director of Player Personnel, in partnership with the General Manager, will evaluate the current team roster and depth to identify areas of strengths and weaknesses to help formulate recruiting agenda/plan.”

That job posting can be found here.
