It wasn’t the prettiest of seasons for Kentucky football, hampered by injuries and self-inflicted errors that turned what was expected to be a historic year into an above-average one. Still, though, beating the Louisville Cardinals for a fourth consecutive year to end regular season play was nothing short of sweet, a streak that will never get old.

The UK video team put together the finale recap, and as always it’s a beauty. It’s one that highlights the Senior Day festivities, which honored the likes of Chris Oats, Will Levis and Chris Rodriguez, along with Mark Stoops’ comments to the team before the game.

“Play with pride, you understand? Play with some damn attitude and pride. Attack their ass every play, got me?” he said. “Every single person, play for each other and attack for four quarters.”

Attack the Cats did, rolling the Cardinals by a final score of 26-13 — and it could’ve been even more. Highlight plays from Josh Kattus, Dane Key and Barion Brown, along with clutch all-around performances from kicker Matt Ruffolo and the Kentucky defense.
