Kentucky is finalist for top-500 prospect Christian Ingram

Kentucky suffered some bad news on Sunday when the program lost two high school commits. Three-star offensive lineman Tucker Kattus flipped to Clemson and tailback Marquise Davis flipped to Missouri. The Wildcats are now down to 19 commits. Are more decommitments on the way? Could Kentucky replace these recruiting losses?
A key target trimmed his list to three schools on Monday with the early signing period now less than 48 hours away. Covington (Ga.) Newtown defensive lineman Christian Ingram will sign with Kentucky, South Carolina, or USC.
Kentucky hosted Christian Ingram for an official visit in October for the Auburn game. The Wildcats were in a great spot following the visit, but things change fast in recruiting. Ingram then took a trip to South Carolina on the weekend of Nov. 23. The Gamecocks were surging after the visit but that changed over the weekend following Ingram’s official visit to USC.
Lincoln Riley‘s program currently has all of the momentum in this recruiting battle and is the heavy favorite. I have submitted a pick for the Trojans to sign Christian Ingram on Wednesday.
