Kentucky is putting together another top-25 recruiting class in 2025
Kentucky football inked a top-25 recruiting class in 2020 (No. 22), 2022 (No. 17), and 2024 (No. 25). Another one of those could be arriving in 2025. After landing eight commitments in June, the Wildcats are trending up on the recruiting trail.
Mark Stoops‘ program is set to enter July with 14 high school commits and a class ranked No. 23 overall at On3. Kentucky has five four-star prospects in the fold and seven top-500 recruits. The Wildcats are finding some high-quality talent.
In average star rating, Kentucky also sits at No. 23 overall, but there are some other programs with small numbers ahead of them. Ole Miss (nine), Florida (eight), and Florida State (eight) all have fewer than 10 commitments. UK’s current rating (87.64) would’ve finished No. 32 overall last cycle. There is still some work to be done for a top-25 finish, but some more good news could be on the way.

Top-200 recruit Javeon Campbell is set to make his announcement on Tuesday, and Kentucky is in a great position. Vince Marrow could record a head-to-head recruiting win against Alabama if the Frankfort (Ky.) Western Hills senior decides to stay home. Campbell could give UK four top-200 recruits joining Cedric Works, Marquise Davis, and Martels Carter. The program has never signed four top-200 prospects in the same class during the Internet rankings era. The Wildcats also have a tremendous shot with four-star cornerback Dawayne Galloway.
Some more good news should arrive soon on the recruiting trail. Kentucky is putting together a good class in the 2025 cycle.
