Kentucky football remains at No. 24 in Week 11 Coaches Poll
Kentucky football is back on the winning path, but the Wildcats didn’t move up in one of the major polls.
On Sunday afternoon, the AFCA Coaches Poll released its Week 11 national rankings where the ‘Cats remained at No. 24 in the country. Kentucky is coming off a heart attack-inducing 21-17 road victory over the Missouri Tigers on Saturday. UK is now 6-3 on the season with a 3-3 mark in the Southeastern Conference and just three more games left on the 2022 schedule.
Kentucky is one of six SEC schools ranked among the Coaches Poll Top 25, but is also the lone program outside of the Top 12. Georgia holds down the No. 1 spot after spanking Tennessee, which fell a couple of spots to No. 5. LSU jumps to No. 8 after its convincing win over Alabama, which saw the Crimson Tide fall five spots to No. 11. The Ole Miss Rebels moved up one spot in the rankings to No. 9 overall.
