Kentucky Football was all over the SEC Network

If you turned your television onto the SEC Network on Monday, there’s a good chance you saw the Kentucky football program. No, they weren’t just showing replays of the win over Northern Illinois. On every SEC Network talk show there was at least one member of the seventh-ranked Wildcats making an appearance.
Tayvion Robinson kicked things off with Peter Burns and Chris Doering on SEC This Morning. He shared why it was a perfect scenario for him to transfer to Kentucky this offseason and what makes Will Levis so special.
“He’s an amazing leader. It’s also amazing catches ball from him. He’s the type of guy you’ll run through a wall for,” said Robinson. “He encourages us, he leads by example, he’s in here late watching film, going over the scripts. We have a good chemistry with us and those three guys out there on offense. It’s been amazing playing with him.”
After Tayvion talked so highly of Levis, Kentucky’s quarterback spent time hanging out with Paul Finebaum discussing what Chris Rodriguez‘s return means for the Wildcats.

Before Kentucky: Mark Stoops, the Painter
The Wildcats’ eventful Monday ended with Mark Stoops on Thinking Out Loud. Of course, Richard Johnson and Spencer Hall touched on all of the football topics, like Will Levis and his talented wide receivers. However, the most intriguing part of the conversation did not pertain to football. The SEC Network crew dug deep to ask Stoops about his early coaching days when he had a side hustle while working at USF.
“I’m a painter. I can paint. I’m a pretty darn good painter. If I ever need to, I can go back to being a professional painter,” Stoops joked. “I’m a laborer. I grew up that way. My father had a painting business. When we had that job at USF I made $12,000 a year, so if I wanted a little beer money I had to go work construction at night and on the weekends.”
The way things are going in Lexington, I don’t think he’ll need to paint any houses for some extra beer money anytime soon.
