Date announced for Kentucky spring game
Start making your tailgate plans now. Kentucky football officially has a date locked in for the Blue-White spring game in 2024. The Big Blue Nation will have a busy day in the Bluegrass on the second Saturday in April.
Mark Stoops and his 12th team at Kentucky will hit the turf at Kroger Field to play in front of the Big Blue Nation on Saturday, April 13. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. ET/12:00 p.m. CT.
Free parking will be available at Kroger Field for the intrasquad scrimmage with the game time tentatively locked in. Kentucky’s spring practice is currently scheduled to begin on March 19. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
“Fans can choose to sit where they would like within the lower bowl, and the upper decks won’t open unless the lower bowl fills. All standard seating will be open and general admission, except for Sections 25-27 (Club Level), Loge Level and specific seating blocks designated for the football program,” UK said in a release.

“The game will return to Kroger Field for the first time since 2022. UK held an open practice across Talbott Todd Way at the Joe Craft Football Training Facility instead of the more “traditional” Spring Game last year because the playing surface in Kroger Field was being replaced.”
On that weekend in the Bluegrass, most people will be monitoring round three at the Masters closely and races will also be occurring at Keeneland during the spring meet. Now we get to add a little football to a jam-packed weekend.
