Kentucky will wear traditional uniforms in Week 1

The first Friday of the Kentucky football season has arrived. Most in the Big Blue Nation know that means uniform reveal time is officially here. Many will like the look in Week 1.

Kentucky released its Week 1 uniform combination for the Southern Miss game on the program’s X account. The Wildcats are rolling with a very traditional look. Wide receiver Dane Key shows off the first jersey combination of the season.

Kentucky will rock blue helmets, blue jerseys, and white pants for the first game of the season. The Cats wore this same jersey combination last year in Week 1. That ended with a 44-14 victory over Ball State that included a pair of non-offensive touchdowns. Will this jersey combo ultimately lead to another blowout victory? We will find out soon.

Blue is the color of choice to kickoff the 2024 Kentucky football campaign.
