Kentucky Football: Who has the Best Hair on the Big Blue Wall?
Kentucky’s Big Blue Wall is known throughout the Southeastern Conference as a physical, nasty group of maulers. This year the run-blocking specialists are adding a few new weapons to their arsenal, and a couple great heads of hair.
Offensive tackle David Wohlabaugh arrived in Lexington this spring as an early enrollee. He brought with him long locks of hair that flow out from the back of his Kentucky blue helmet. Running with the second team at right tackle, he’s not the only big ugly with beautiful hair.
Offensive guard Austin Dotson has had a burly beard since he was pulverizing opponents at Belfry High School. Entering his fifth season in Lexington, Dotson is bringing a new look to Kroger Field. Now he’s sporting the finest Kentucky Waterfall.

When the freshman was asked if he had the best hair at UK Football Media Day, the upperclassman intervened.
“Mine’s a little bit shorter, but my flow is better,” said Dotson.
Wohlabaugh replied, “You’re trying to hide it. I embrace it.”
“You’re not man enough to get a mullet,” Dotson stated with authority.
Each respective athlete has hair that is the envy of bald men (like myself) everywhere. Still, a consensus must be reached. Who has the best hair on the Big Blue Wall?
