Kentucky has 13th best odds to win 2025 Men's College World Series
Although Kentucky will not open the season in D1Baseball’s Top 25 Rankings, Vegas still thinks highly of Nick Mingione’s Cats.
Currently, Kentucky is tied with Vanderbilt for the 13th best odds to win the 2025 Men’s College World Series at +2900 (according to FanDuel). The full list of favorites is below:
- No. 4 Tennessee (+750)
- No. 1 Texas A&M (+1000)
- No. 5 Arkansas (+1100)
- No. 3 LSU (+1200)
- No. 10 Florida (+1600)
- No. 14 Wake Forest (+1800)
- No. 6 North Carolina (+1800)
- No. 9 Florida State (+2100)
- No. 23 TCU (+2100)
- No. 2 Virginia (+2400)
- No. 7 Oregon State (+2400)
- No. 19 Texas (+2600)
- Kentucky (+2900)
- No. 16 Vanderbilt (+2900)
- No. 8 Georgia (+3100)
- No. 15 Clemson (+3100)
- East Carolina (+3700)
- No. 13 NC State (+4000)
- Oklahoma (+4000)
Among the top 16 favorites, Kentucky is the lone team to open the 2025 season outside the Top 25 Rankings. At the end of the day however, this doesn’t really mean anything. The Cats opened the 2023 season unranked and finished the season ranked at No. 17 with a Super Regional appearance. They also opened the 2024 season unranked and made a run to the Men’s College World Series, finishing the season ranked No. 3 behind just the two teams that made it to the Finals (No. 1 Tennessee and No. 2 Texas A&M).
