Kentucky has 15/1 Odds to Win the NCAA Title
With Selection Sunday just 23 short days away, many teams around the country are dusting off their resumé and are making sure everything is in proper order. While players and coaches around the nation are undoubtedly preparing to further boost their tournament profile, others are trying to predict who will be the last one standing on April 7th in Dallas, Texas. Understandably, most of the predictions are coming from fans and network talking heads, but there’s another group out there that’s letting their voices be heard – oddsmakers.
If you remember, Kentucky began the season as the odds-on favorite to win the NCAA Title with 7/2 odds according to Bovada. However, our odds have shifted over the course of the season due to losses and a number of other factors. As of today, Kentucky’s odds to take home the program’s ninth national title are at 15/1 – eighth best in the field.
Even after a scare at home against Auburn, Billy Donovan and his Florida Gators are the current favorite to win it all with 11/2 odds. However, Syracuse and Kansas aren’t too far behind with 6/1 odds. Despite the injury plagued season, Tom Izzo and the Spartans have 9/1 odds to cut down the nets at the Final Four. Wichita State, Duke, and Arizona are the other teams currently ahead of Kentucky. Below, you’ll find the remaining odds according to sportsbook.ag.
