Joe Lunardi blessed us with an update to ESPN’s Bracketology this morning. In it, your University of Kentucky Wildcats are still on the No. 3 seed line after a brief appearance as a No. 2 last week. Lunardi dropped the Wildcats before Saturday’s loss at Texas A&M, oddly. Maybe he knew?

Today, Lunardi’s new 2024 NCAA Tournament projection left Kentucky’s seed unchanged, placing the Wildcats as the No. 3 in the West Region, playing the opening weekend games in Pittsburgh. The first-round opponent in this scenario is No. 14 Oakland, followed by No. 6 San Diego State or No. 11 Wake Forest/Ohio State for the spot in L.A. The top of the West presents a difficult road to the Final Four, with No. 1 Kansas and No. 2 Arizona as the two higher seeds.

You can see the entire bracket here on ESPN.com. Over there, you will see North Carolina, UConn, and Purdue claimed the other No. 1 seeds with Kansas. Tennessee, Wisconsin, and Houston are the No. 2 seeds with Arizona.
