Kentucky High School Football Rankings: Final Four Edition

The semifinal round of the Kentucky high school football playoffs is upon us. Here are the rankings for this week.

Kentucky High School Football Top 25

1. Male – Nic Schutte threw for 258 yards and five touchdowns in a 46-0 shutout of North Hardin

2. Lexington Christian Academy (LCA) – UVA commit Xavier Brown rushed for 177 yards and scored four touchdowns (3 rushing, 1 receiving) in a 49-21 win over Owensboro Catholic. The game was tied at 14 at halftime.

3. Boyle County – Running back Avery Bodner scored five touchdowns, intercepted a pass, and had a long kickoff return in a 51-14 win over Scott High.

4. St. Xavier – Jack Sivori was 10-for-11 for 232 yards and three scores. He also ran for 101 yards and two touchdowns in a 42-6 win over Daviess County.

5. Johnson Central – The Golden Eagles rushed for nearly 500 yards and Cole Campbell rushed for three touchdowns in an impressive 34-13 win over then-No. 5 Corbin.

6. South Warren – Kobe Martin and Luke Burton each scored three touchdowns in a 47-14 victory over South Oldham. WKU commit Caden Veltkamp passed for 251 yards and two scores.

7. Beechwood – Reigning Mr. Football quarterback Cam Hergott (228 yards rushing) accounted for six first-half touchdowns in an easy 50-6 victory over Walton Verona

8. Woodford County – Jackson Geilear ran for a score and made several big plays on defense, including a key tackle on 4th and 1, in a 28-14 win over Covington Catholic.

9. Frederick Douglass – Kentucky commit Ty Bryant tallied two of the five Bronco rushing touchdowns in an impressive 37-6 win over Southwestern.

10. Owensboro – Maurice Moormon returned a kickoff for a score and a punt for a score in an easy 56-12 win over Bullitt Central.
